Director of HUman Resources (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:
- Assists with interviewing, selection, hiring of employees.
- Plans, assists, coordinates, develops policies and processes to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Assists supervisors and managers with employee relation issues.
- Administers the company co-worker benefit programs.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations governing employment.
Some of the requirements of this position are:
- Minimum five-years of human resource management required.
- Human Resource Information System software and Microsoft Office experience.
- Detail-oriented and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A strong personal integrity and work ethic, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and works to build relationships with others.
- Strong team leader with an ability to empower others and work in a collaborative culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Understand and affirm the company’s vision, mission, and values.
Stain Lab production (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:
- Operating computerized tinting machines.
- This process adds the colorant that produces industrial stains and tinted finishes.
- Some colorants must be added manually.
- Mixing Products
- Operate paint shakers.
- All base products are mixed before components are added to create the stain & tinted finish products.
- After the components are put together in a container, they are then put through another mixing process.
- Quality Control - Check stains & tints before the are sent out to customers.
- Print labels and apply labels to containers.
- Be willing to support the production team with different projects.
Some of the requirements of this position are:
- Supports Keim’s Core Values, Mission & Vision Statement.
- Ability to lift 40-70lbs.
- Ability to match colors by eyesight.
- Tolerance for minor solvent and finish odors.
- Basic knowledge of stains and finishes would be helpful but not requires. Keim is willing to train.
Appliance Sales (Charm Location)
Some of the responsibilities of this position are:
- Build relationships with co-workers and customers.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, fax, email and in-store.
- Assist customers with appliance related questions regarding price, availability and applicant of products.
- Generate orders and quotes accurately and efficiently.
Some of the requirements of this position are:
- Supports and applies Keim Lumber’s Core Values, Mission & Vision Statement.
- An interest in appliances and their applications.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic keyboard and computer skills preferred but not required.
